Our websites are designed to high standards. Web standards that is. Semantic mark-up. This helps people see your website better, whichever browser they are using. We can design your website to work on mobile phones too. Do we use Flash? We do use Flash on websites occasionally, but only to help illustrate a point or feature, much like an image. We know all about Javascript, DOM, and Ajax even if you don't. Maybe we'll be using some of these techniques and principals on your site.
Accessibility & usability
Our websites are designed from the ground up with accessibility in mind. As developers we have learnt how to avoid making the usual accessibility mistakes. We have studied how people use the web, and discussed issues with people who find the internet hard to use. Most of our websites pass W3C WCAG Priority 2 & 3 checkpoints, whilst all of our websites pass Priority 1 status.
Search Engine Optimization / Optimisation (SEO)
Accessibility and Search Engine Optimisation are similar in a lot of ways. What you do for one, can often improve the other. Unlike many SEO companies, we design or redesign your website from the outset with Search Engine Optimization in mind. We can’t promise you a number one spot on search engines, no one can. Just rest in the knowledge that your website will be optimised through clarity on copy, and clarity of code.
